My Three Logos
This is my Initials logo. When I made this logo I wanted to reflect the J so it just look like an L on the other side. I shortened the both letters and extended them. Finally, I added a tip at the end to both letters.

I wanted to make my name logo a little goofy as I tried to adding some buck teeth. I created my own capital L by using a straight line on the side and a curved line on the bottom to add the effect of a smile. I created the eyes inside my o and p to finalize my smiley face.
This is my favorite logo as it incorporates two different aspects: letters and pictures. I made this symbol logo by making two big capital letters that are just outlined. Then I got two pictures of how you make the letters in sign language.

Expressive Text
Project Description: This was my third Adobe Illustrator tutorial and I am learning new skills every class. Stack texted was the simplest thing in the tutorial. I just got short words and stacked them over each other. Figure ground reversal was a little more difficult because you had to plan on where your letters would be so you could could have the least amount of space between letters. The most challenging thing in this tutorial was the positive and negative space. Filling up a small rectangle with black and white letters sounds easier than it is. Finally, I finished off with ligatures.
New Skills Learned: I learned how to create ligatures and figure ground reversal with letters and words.
Shape Tools: Rectangle
Self Reflection: This tutorial was one of my favorites because of all the cool things you can do to a word. This will eventually help me in creating a great logo. The most difficult part of this tutorial was the positive and negative space as it took me the longest to accomplish.
Participation/Project: I did a good job in efficiently finishing my work. I could have tried harder on the positive and negative space but after spending nearly 20 minutes on it i thought it was good enough. 9/8

Adobe Illustrator Week 2
Project Description: This was the second week of Adobe Illustrator and I am learning many more skills before i begin my logo project. I played around with the gradient and also learned how to make my own pattern using stars. This week's skills will greatly help improve my over all logo design.
Shape Tools: Circles, stars, and rectangles.
Drawing Tools: Paint tool and Pen tool.
Self Reflection: I finished this tutorial pretty quickly and i believe it is well done. I filled all the requirements and had a good final product.
Participation/Product: I would give myself a 9/9 for how effectively I finished the tutorial and how the results came out to look.

Project Description: Today I finished my spaceship on Adobe Illustrator. It was difficult at the start but once I began playing around and learning more of Illustrator I became more familiar with it. you can make great designs on illustrator so its important that I do learn how to use it. Im very excited for my next illustrator project and I will try my best to make it as great as my spaceship was.
Shape Tools: Circles, Triangles, and Ovals.
Drawing Tools: Pen Tool, Ellipse Tool, and Gradient Tool.
Self Reflection: I really liked the outcome of my spaceship. I understood this tutorial and I believe that it reflects on how well I did above. I added a great looking space with stars for the background of my ship as well.
Participation/Project: I tried my best for this spaceship and i was glad with the results. The dark background really bring outs my red spaceship. i would grade myself overall a 9/9 for this tutorial.
